The Marble Kid's Pictures

Just got new pictures made of the kids. Here is a quick recap of what is happening in Arizona. )

Alexxis is now 16, got her driver's license in December and is now dating (yes! Dating!). She, in fact, is excited because tomorow night is the ROTC ball at the high school and she is going with Joshua Rogers (a boy in our ward). They are good friends and she going to have fun getting all dressed up. She borrowed a formal from another friend and I'll be sure to put the pictures on here this weekend.

Taylor will be 15 in a month. She is looking forward to getting her driving permit in 6 months, but has to get her young women's medallion first. Over Spring break, we moved the kids' bedrooms around, so that Alex and Taylor are now sharing a room. Dad built 2 loft beds in their room and so they have their own little kingdom. (If they ever get it cleaned up it will be a miracle!

Austin is 11 (will be 12 in July). He is working on things for Scouting and is learning to play the violin. He is a fantastic singer and is part of our children's Choir. Rita Barney in our ward last Sunday told me that he has "perfect pitch". He really enjoys music. He just started Spring Baseball and that will take up a lot of our time over the next few weeks.

Kijler is 9 but turning 10 the end of this month. He recently decided to stay home and homeschool with mom. He is doing very well but having to do a lot independently. He is a huge help to mom and does the homeschool choir each week. He is also doing Spring baseball.

Meisje is a darling 7 year old 1st grader. She loves school and her teacher. She is reading very well and seems to love anything and everything. She is very social and always wants to be with friends. If someone isn't over, she is asking to invite them over. She is a big helper and also gets along well with all the siblings.

Marissa is our 5 year old in Preschool. She is not a baby anymore and it is hard for me to let her grow up. She is just so cute! I'm not anxious for her to start Kindergarten next year. She still loves DORA and would like to live in that world.

Joseph is working from home, doing bids and trying to get jobs for the roofing company. He will most likely be going to South Dakota this summer and the rest of the family will be here working and doing the choir. Joseph has been busy for the last few months (since September) moonlighting as a camera man for high school games. He started with Football games, then continued doing basketball and hockey. I think he has enjoyed it!

Kayleen is still teaching for AZVA and currently at AIMS testing for the week. I'm busy with my internship for University of Phoenix (masters of administration) and the children's choir.
